Husain Nuri received his foundation of Qur’ānic and Islamic teachings under the direct supervision of Dr. Zohurul Hoque. For over a decade, he has been seriously involved in researching the Qur’ān, and in comparative religious studies.

Currently he is engaged in editing the English and Bengali commentaries of the Qur’ān jointly with Dr. Zohurul Hoque. He is also engaged in developing a curriculum for weekend Islamic schools in the US, and co-authoring thirteen textbooks, to be published soon. He also teaches at an Islamic School in Ohio.

He is a banker by profession. He holds MS and MBA degrees.
